Packed by hand, a few at a time
Thistle & Twine is a small packing room in Perthshire. Catriona started it at her kitchen table, and now packs with a team of three at a long wooden bench by the window.
We pack in small batches, so every hamper is checked, wrapped and tied by the person who filled it. Nothing goes in that we would not be glad to get ourselves, and there are never any prices in the box.
What goes in, and where it comes from
- Shortbread and oatcakes
- Baked in small batches by a family bakery a few miles up the glen.
- Heather honey
- From hives on the moor, taken off in late summer when the heather is over.
- Preserves and chutney
- Cooked in a farm kitchen with fruit and onions grown in the Carse.
- Candles, hand cream and wool
- Poured, mixed and woven by makers in Fife and the Borders.
How delivery works
Hampers go out by tracked courier, packed so they arrive the way they left us.

- 3No Sunday deliveriesOur courier delivers Monday to Saturday, to any UK address.
- 4Free over £75UK delivery is £5.95, or free when your order comes to £75 or more.
